What more do you need to attract more customers in your local market?

Reviews! And here’s why…

Online reviews build trust the same way that word-of-mouth referrals do. When your friend refers you to a business, it’s because they trust that business enough to send them more business! Reviews from your past customers to the public do the same thing. They say: “Hey, this business is (or is not) a business I would work with again, and here’s why.”

Reviews are a huge factor in what causes someone to pick up their phone and call you or not. Bad reviews are obviously something that would lead someone away from your business. But believe it or not, the absence of reviews can also do that!

Your business will build significant trust and credibility as you get more and more positive reviews. (And, on your Google My Business page, the more positive reviews you have, the higher you may rank among competitors!)

So how do you get reviews? Start asking!

Ask your past clients to leave a review on Google, HomeAdvisor, Yelp, or whatever other review platform you may have. Send them an email or a text asking them to share the experience they had with you. The more the merrier!

Get a negative review? It happens. Handle it like a professional and try your best to correct any mistakes that might have been made. You can’t remove a bad review…you just have to overshadow it with even more good reviews!

So don’t lose out on potential business by having nothing said about you. Go out there and ask for reviews and let the locals tell others why you’re the best!
